2007 - A Midsummer Night's Success!

This past summer Shakespeare Festival presented A Midsummer Night's Dream, set to the sights and sounds of the early Los Angeles jazz scene. Along with positive press and enthusiastic word of mouth, Shakespeare Festival/LA excelled at building community by:

• Allowing a diverse cross-section of California residents to attend our performances - over 6,500 individuals in our community participated!
• Enabling over 200 local students to attend the show by providing funding for six school busses as transportation.
• Collected 1,900 canned non-perishable items for our Food for Thought program, proving that theater can feed more than the soul.
